Hello my lovely readers! I hope you are all well and are as excited as I am for the holidays! Now moving on to the topic of this post; I was able to get my hands on JORD's Frankie series watch in Ebony & Gold. In all honesty, I was initially skeptical about these watches as I was not sure if wooden watches would fit well with my style and aesthetic. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I received this watch in the mail. The Ebony wood used for the watch adds texture and blends well with my entire wardrobe. I personally am in love with the minimalist design of the watch itself.
The watch itself is lightweight. However, you do need to take good care of you watch as it isn't water resistant. Also, keep in mind that the wood can change and loose it's shine overtime. If you are worried about the maintenance of the watch, JORD provides more information on their website and sells products to help clean and maintain your watch.
Overall, I think the watch is a nice addition to my current watch collection. I will say that these watches are investment pieces, however you definitely get your bang for your buck.
